We had another chance to sleep in! But didn’t, because we somehow ended up waking up at 7:15 a.m. and couldn’t go back to sleep, so we went to the Windjammer Cafe for breakfast. Afterwards, we made up for not sleeping in by taking a long nap. Ha. Then we spent much of the day lounging around at an art auction (free champagne!), in the casino ($1 minimum bet on Roulette!), poolside (got a little bit of sun), in a hot tub (so relaxing), at the cafe (for alcohol-laden lattes and free cookies) and somewhere in all that was lunch at the Windjammer again. This was the most unstructured day that we have had and we really enjoyed it – so we are looking forward to next year’s cruise in which there are two days at sea instead of one. Our group decided to head to the Tropical Theatre tonight before the farewell show before our 8:30 pm dinner, and we caught a hilarious stand-up comedy act and the usual goodbye song by the entire crew. Dinner was great as usual, the head waiter had put in a special request for us to have a vegan pasta dish made up since the vegetarian/indian food entree was cheese-based. And once again the food did not disappoint us, I don’t know how they do it! Since tonight was the last night on the ship we had to run upstairs after dinner and pack our bags and put them outside our room by 11 pm. Once that was done we crashed and went to bed, satisfied with a very eventful and relaxing vacation, and ready to head home!
