Bryce Canyon NP is a short two-hour drive east of Zion NP, and is very conveniently located, as you can stop by for a brief visit on your way towards Capitol Reef NP. Bryce Canyon is truly gorgeous, and there are various hiking trails that can be done there; we choose The Navajo Loop.
The Navajo Loop is a 1.8 mile round trip loop of Moderate difficulty that takes you down the rim from Sunset Point, through the narrow corridors of Wall Street, past the Silent City, past an intersection with Queens Garden Loop Trail, and the top of Peekaboo Loop Trail, before ascending the rim of the amphitheatre again at Sunset Point. The trail requires hikers to descend 800 feet down the side of the Bryce rim, and then at the end of the hike to climb right back up that slope. (Utah.com)
