Nestor grew up in the middle of the Andes mountains, several hundred miles from the nearest ocean. He has lived his life in cycles, with stints in music, film, academia, and entrepreneurship. Yet, a constant in his life has been a deep passion for the ocean and an ever-growing need to visit distant lands and experience other cultures. He is an avid sailor, a decent vegan cook, and a reliable long distance campervan driver.
Yolanda grew up in a suburban Michigan town and came of age in the Hardcore/Punk scene of greater Detroit. Her interest in travel began with road trips to music fests & blossomed after a trip to Europe with her grandmother at age 16. Later, she got her Doctorate and built a career as a physical therapist. Her non-professional life has been as adventure-filled as Nestor’s. After her early days of kickboxing and punk rock, she became a serious tattoo collector, a runner, a rock climber, and now a sailor.
